About Lund Figure Skating Club:
Lund Figure Skating Club is a well-established and successful club with a strong tradition of nurturing figure skaters at all levels, from beginners to elite athletes. The club has a dedicated and passionate membership base and offers a supportive and inclusive environment where all skaters can develop and achieve their goals. Currently, the club has approximately 75 skaters across various levels and age groups. The club also has a popular skating school with over 200 participants. The club's ambition is to provide all skaters, from beginners to elite, with optimal opportunities for development.

About the Positions:
We are seeking two dedicated and experienced figure skating coaches, one head coach for a full-time position and one part-time coach, who want to be part of our club and contribute to the development and success of our skaters. Both positions require you to inspire young children to get active and help them aim high with your expertise in figure skating. Personal commitment, openness, and creative thinking are highly valued.
Head Coach:
As the head coach, you will:
- Train skaters in groups, organized by skill level and age.
- Plan and lead training sessions for all groups in close collaboration with assistant coaches, with a focus on creating a joyful and positive training environment.
- Coach and support assistant coaches to ensure their continuous development.
- Provide individual feedback and support to skaters based on their specific needs and personal goals.
- Conduct development meetings with skaters to set mutual goals for each season and monitor their progress.
- Choreograph competition programs for skaters who choose to compete.
- Organize and lead shows and seasonal events.
- Assist skaters during competitions when required.
Part-Time Coach:
As a part-time coach, you will:
- Train skaters in groups according to a plan developed by the head coach.
- Create a joyful and positive training environment where all skaters feel welcome and motivated.
- Provide support and feedback to skaters based on their specific needs and personal goals.
- Participate in the planning and execution of training sessions and competitions.
- Assist skaters during competitions when required.
Requirements for the Coaches:
- Ability to train skaters from beginner to elite levels, with coaching certification equivalent to Swedish Level 4 for the head coach and Level 2 for the part-time coach.
- Documented experience in coaching children and youth.
- Ability to work with competition program choreography (for the head coach).
- Experience in organizing and leading shows and seasonal events.
- Ability to conduct off-ice training.
- Interest and ability to work with children and teenagers in line with the values of the Swedish Figure Skating Association, and a strong belief in the importance of joy and positive pedagogy in training.
- Proficiency in English and Swedish, or a willingness to learn Swedish.
- Responsibility for the continuous training and development of assistant coaches, as well as planning your own and their work (for the head coach).

The positions are based at Lund Ice Rink, which offers modern ice surfaces for optimal training and development. The rink has a full-sized rink and a smaller rink and was built in 2008.
