About Lund Figure Skating Club:
Lund Figure Skating Club is a well-established and successful club with a strong tradition of nurturing figure skaters at all levels, from beginners to elite. The club has a dedicated and passionate membership base and offers a supportive and inclusive environment where all skaters can develop and achieve their goals. Currently, the club has about 75 skaters across different levels and age groups. The club also has a popular skating school with over 200 skaters. The club's ambition is to provide all skaters, from beginners to elite, with optimal development opportunities.

About the Positions: We are looking for several engaged and experienced figure skating coaches with different employment levels, educational backgrounds, and experiences who want to be part of our club and contribute to the development and success of our skaters.
These positions require you to inspire young children to be active and help them aim high
with your expertise in figure skating. Personal commitment, openness, and creative thinking are highly valued. Depending on the level of employment, the coaching job can be combined with education or another job.

Your duties as a coach will include:

• Training skaters in group sessions.
• Providing support and feedback to skaters based on their specific needs.
• Participating in the planning and execution of training sessions and competitions.
• Assisting skaters at competitions when required.

Requirements for you as a coach:

• Ability to train skaters from beginner to elite level and have coaching education
• equivalent to Swedish level 1-4.
• Documented experience in coaching children and youth.
• Contributing to organizing shows and seasonal events.
• Ability to work with off-ice training.
• Interest and ability to work with children and teenagers in line with the values of the Swedish Figure Skating Association.
• Proficiency in English and Swedish or willingness to learn Swedish.

Location of the Position: The position is based at Lund's ice rink, which offers modern ice surfaces for optimal training and development. The ice rink has a full-size rink and a smaller rink and was built in 2008.
